Eddie & The Allniters is the brainchild of Eddie Polanco. Born in San Antonio and raised in various parts of the world, Eddie embarked on a musical journey that has spanned five decades and countless musical acts. He has performed on stage with artists such as Jitterbug Webb, Randy Garibay, Island, Augie Meyers, and many others. He has recorded with Island, Neal Black, Jitterbug Webb, True Stories, Lee Woods, and with a Who's Who of San Antonio artists on the Robert Johnson tribute album "Hot Tamales" by Bexar Nekkid Records.
As well as playing in the U.S., Eddie also headlined The Jazzrymit Festival in Finland with Texas Rumble. He has also been a supporting act for artists such as Johnny Clyde Copeland, Albert Collin, Savoy Brown, Buddy Guy, Joe Guitar Hughes, and Junior Wells among others.
THE ALLNITERS
The band has gone through various personnel changes over the years and has always featured some of San Antonio's best musicians. Ready for almost any situation, Eddie & The Allniters can provide any venue with anything from a power trio to a ten-piece band. Players in his bull pen include guitarists Ray Symczyk & Carl Morgan, bassists Val Kronk & Fred Polanco, drummers Gil Polanco & Rene "Mad Dog" Lopez, and saxophonists Albert Garcia & Billy Ray Sheppard.
